Our Story
After more than a decade of visiting Antigua and refurbishing our family holiday home here, we started SOTEAK.CO in 2021 with a simple goal of bringing timeless Scandinavian design, crafted in highly durable materials suitable for the Caribbean climate, to Antigua directly from the skilled craftspeople making these products daily across Southeast Asia.
Since that early goal, we have developed into a business that not only brings teak furniture (and more) directly to Antigua for online and in-studio retail, but also undertakes numerous projects each season, fully furnishing villas, restaurants and boutique resorts to bespoke client wishes across the Caribbean.

We work only with a small network of family businesses, dealing directly with the owners on a personal level, ensuring we focus only on specific quality and design for the Caribbean, not mass market products. Our success has come from this focus - we know from our own experience what it takes to develop enduring furniture for the Caribbean, and from our close network, we know who can make it.

Tom launched SOTEAK.CO in 2021 after relocating to Antigua (from Singapore). He manages our global supplier base and is directly engaged on every project​

Retail & Projects Manager
Maiga runs all our customer-side activities day-to-day. She is happy to help on all requests in relation to retail items, the webshop or project introductions & coordination

Admin & Operations Manager
Camilla handles all our background activities, from inventory management & book keeping to shipping & landing coordination
